Your Practitioner
Jennifer Tongren is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Herbalist in the state of Massachusetts. She holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston, MA, and a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She has had the privilege to work with some of the most distinguished practitioners in New England including Master Herbalist Tao Xie of Boston, MA and Sharon Weizenbaum of White Pine Healing Arts in Amherst, MA. Jennifer studies both Chinese and Japanese acupuncture. She practices a blend of gentle and supportive styles called Integrative Mandala Acupuncture taught to her by Sharon Weizenbaum.

Jennifer specializes in Women’s health and stress management, but practices also as a general practitioner. Jennifer is a professional Childbirth Assistant (commonly known as a doula), working toward certification from ALACE (Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators). Her acupuncture treatments are informed by her yoga practice of over 10 years, as well as her interest and participation in organic farming.

About The Clinic
Jennifer practices at White Pine Healing Arts clinic in Amherst, owned and operated by Sharon Weizenbaum. The clinic is equipped with both a bulk and powdered herbal pharmacy. Parking is ample and the scenery is inspiring. For more info please visit the White Pines website.

We do everything possible to make sure you are able to receive treatment. We do not accept insurance as of now, but would gladly provide you with documentation you need for reimbursement.
